5th grade started their linoleum printmaking project today. We talked about various forms of printmaking: relief, intaglio, lithograph, silkscreen, woodcut & lino-cuts (which we will be doing). Today students drew thumbnail sketches and began transferring them to their linoleum. This image shows my example which is inspired by the upcoming Lunar New Year. |
