2nd Grade Lunar New Year Prints

Students were introduced to printmaking.  During 2nd grade students learn about China and they recently celebrated the Lunar New Year. They each chose an animal from the Chinese Zodiac to draw and then transfer to a foam plate to then print.

Fourth graders started printing today.  We used foam board to create relief prints. The focus is on line, shape and pattern.
