So impressed with these kids' pinch pots.  Such amazing talent both in forming the pot and painting  pattern + design.

We learned about clay and where it comes from and how we fire it in an electric kiln.  We also talked about glazing and how it serves a function as well as an aesthetic. Here are some photos of our glazed pots ready to be fired in the kiln.
