4th grade Picasso Black + White

We gained inspiration from the current Picasso exhibit at the Guggenheim in New York   http://web.guggenheim.org/exhibitions/picasso/
4th grade students studied the art of Pablo Picasso. They learned about his cubist and blue period paintings. They also learned how to paint a monochromatic painting using value.  They created some stellar masterpieces. Many are now hanging in our school gallery hallways.
